Eligibility Requirements

  • Runtime: Films must be 40 minutes or less in length
  • Production Date: No completion deadline - films of any age are accepted
  • Format: Digital submissions only via FilmFreeway
  • Language: Non-English films must include English subtitles
  • Content: All genres and categories welcome

Technical Requirements

  • Video: HD quality preferred (1080p minimum recommended)
  • Audio: Professional quality sound mixing required
  • Delivery: Upload via FilmFreeway platform
  • Screener: Online streaming link or downloadable file
  • Materials: Director/producer bio, cast & crew list, synopsis

Judging Process

  • Every film is evaluated by three industry professional judges
  • Scoring based on 10 criteria using 1-10 point scale
  • All participants receive detailed scoresheets from all judges
  • Individual achievements scored separately for cast and crew
  • Awards given based on composite scores from all judges

Copyright & Rights

Submitting filmmakers must own all rights to their films including music, footage, and other copyrighted materials. Proof of rights may be requested.

Review Timeline

Films are typically reviewed within 2-4 weeks of submission. Scoresheets and awards are delivered via email upon completion of the judging process.
